Bio
Tim has dedicated much time to developing his musical gift. This hasn't been without it's heartache and sacrifice, but has added to the honesty and realness of his music.
Tim's journey has not been an easy one, and there have been many ups and downs along the way. Tim has faught off suggestions to audition for shows like X-factor saying:
"If it were about the fame, I would have auditioned years ago. For me, it's actually about being myself and being enjoying what I'm doing. All I have ever wanted to do is just make music - and enjoy doing it. If other people appreciate it and can relate to what I'm singing about - then that's even better! I'm just as happy having a jam in my own front room as I am performing in front of people! - although, there is something utterly awesome about performing in front of people. At the end of the day though, I just do what I do. My name's Tim, and I sing songs."
This attitude really comes through in the music Tim writes, and in his heartfelt performances of songs written by others. Never one to reinvent the wheel Tim is as happy singing other people's songs as he is his own:
"Music is all about expression, and having a conversation in many ways. If someone has said something that I relate to in a better way than I'm able to express - there's no point me trying to re-hash that... until of course I have something new to say!"
Tim became a Christian at the age of 14, having been brought up in a Christian family. This has impacted Tim's music - but he is keen to point out that it's not all 'happy clappy':
"Life isn't always about being happy and smiley! Actually a lot of the time life can be pretty tough, but it's how you deal with that that defines who you are. I try and express that in the songs that I write - some people get to hear, others are just to help me work through stuff"
With a fresh new outlook on life having gone through some painful experiences in the last few years Tim is back and focusing on writing - so watch this space!
